The flagship store located at Dizengoff Center in Tel Aviv opened its doors on January 11, 2023, offering signature 7-Eleven products as well as some local convenience items.

Israel-based Electra Consumer Products Ltd. signed a master franchise agreement with 7-Eleven to open stores across the country.

Danny Sultan, COO, 7-Eleven Israel, told Israel Sites & Sights that by the end of the year, 30 stores are slated to open countrywide, with about 10 planned for Tel Aviv.

The theme of the store, as written near food stations is, "Top It The Way You Want" as you meander through the various food and drink stations you can make the perfect drink, coffee, ice cream, or hot dog to your taste. The store also emphasizes digital features with its easy self-checkout option for those who wish. Even the coffee cups have bar codes.

In an official press release, 7-Eleven explains why Israel was chosen as the first retail partnership in the region:

"With its thriving economy and growing population, Israel offers an excellent environment for 7–Eleven's first retail venture in the region," said Ken Wakabayashi, 7-Eleven International Co-CEO. "Our entrance into the country brings Israeli customers a one-stop-shop solution with quality fresh food and convenience needs, via a store format not currently prevalent in the market. We are excited to provide citizens and tourists alike with world-class convenience."
